Creighton Game

The game was so much fun last night! We didn't get home till midnight, girls were exhausted today but they still went to school. I know I am soo mean! :) Creighton won 71 to 69. Such a close game. Here is a quick snap of my girls at the game.



I was pretty good last night too. I ended up making my hubby take me to Scooters for a yummy coffee. I got a 20 oz caramelishous with an extra shot of espresso. That was the worst of it, I promise. At the game I had a pretzel and that was all. So I think I did pretty well. I did take pics of the game I will post them later after I have had time to look at them.

Today I did 40 min of cardio, didnt time my strength training. Water intake is at 8 glasses already and I have stayed in caloric range today, as long as I keep to my schedule, which I will.

Today we are planning to take the girls to the Creighton basketball game. My goal is NOT to pig out completely while I'm there. :) I will be good, I promise. Right now Im charging batteries in hopes to take a bunch of pics while I am there. Gods, I still haven't posted any holiday pics yet. Yup, I should be hearing about that soon, I'm sure. That will be put on my to-do list for tomorrow, along with everything else. Yup, I need to join a procrastinators anonymous group too.


I am managing to stay within caloric range and drink my water, so Im good there. No workout today, will get back to the nitty gritty tomorrow with strength and cardio, as well as Friday.

Fun Date Night

Hubby and I had date night last night and it was so much fun, and definitely needed for us. We saw Daybreakers, lots of vampire goodness, if it could be put that way. Good movie.

We had dinner at Fridays, as I was complaining I really am not feeling well maybe we shouldn't go out to eat, I realized I FORGOT to eat lunch....Yeah, Me forget to eat lunch, yup not new. That is me forgetting something. Then had to wait for a table and people just wouldn't move! :) Didnt take to long, about 10 minutes. I was really bad. Food-wise I had for appetizer a chicken quesadilla, yummy. For auntre I had a 6 oz sirloin, broccoli and some mashed potatoes, which I hardly touched. Then for dessert, and here is the especially bad part, I had a vanilla bean cheese cake, and they dripped chocolate sauce around on the plate and put a strawberry on there too.

O K, my mind was reeling cheesecake, chocolate AND a strawberry! Hot damn! I had very, very notty thoughts about my strawberry and the chocolate sauce, but didn't think the older people across the way would appreciate it, but I sure did! Made me smile my wicked grin! LOL :) I plead temporary insanity, must be all the sugary goodness.

So I DO think I need a workout really bad today. I have so much work to do, hubby is watching his football and kids are playing their video games in the other room. Hopefully I can get one in today. If not I will bust my arss next week. I hardly ever do this. It was a reward for us, so I have no regrets.

Life is short, live life like there is no tomorrow! Anyway I took a couple of snaps with my blackberry if you would care to see.

Date Night

I have been blogging at my Sparkpeople.com blog so I have just been copying and pasting from their to here. It is a weightloss website so all of my blogs will include something to do with my water intake and workouts. Here is todays:

It has been so long since Hubby and I have had any time to ourselves, today we have decided to have a date night. Our last date night was early September, so I feel it is about time again! Babysitter is booked and I am feeling good. We are going to see Daybreakers tonight, hoping for no snow. I hate being an hour away from home at night when it is snowing, even with hubby driving. Looking forward to our time tonight though!

Water intake is going well today, 2 glasses before 11. Which is very good for me. Dont think I will be getting a workout in today, but I have met my goal for the week anyway. Maybe tomorrow.

This Week

This week has been pretty good even with all of the snow we have been getting here in my area of Nebraska. I have been doing good keeping up with my workout routine and staying under my calorie intake. Still having a problem keeping up with my water though. You would think that 8 glasses of water is not much, especially when that is really all I drink, but for me it just is. (sigh).


Kids went back to school on Monday and Tuesday. Snow days on Wednesday and Thursday and teacher in-service on Friday. Lets hope next week is better. It is really hard to get any piece/time to workout with them here and cant go outside in -5 degree weather. I think everyone is feeling a little claustrophobic and is ready for spring in my house.

Weighed this week and found out I lost 3lbs, wish it was more, but I will take that. That brings my total since April 2009 to 58 lbs! Slow and steady wins the race! That is my new motto. That seams like it should be more too. Maybe I am just expecting to much of myself.

Time to try and get warm. Need to still get in 4 more cups of water I think today. I usually finish it right before I go to bed, and then I am up peeing all night! LOL!
