Gift from Grandmy & Grandpy

Sarah decided she wanted to bust out her new Bella Dancer Ella Game. She loved it! Katelyn and Cassidy even did it too. They have watched the video and played it 4 times today.

Tomorrow Katelyn is sleeping over at her friends house in Omaha. Sebastian gets fixed tomorrow and we get to go pick out some fish too, while we are in Omaha.

Merry Christmas 2006

Merry Christmas!!!! HO HO HO!!!! We had a pretty good day today. The girls had a ton of presents to open. We had an awesome ham for dinner, it was so nummy. It took us a few hour rapping presents last night and only about 20 minutes to open. But it was worth it to see the girls have so much fun.

Well, my grandfather did make it to Christmas, like we wanted. He made it up until my family got the hospital this afternoon to see him. He past away at about 2:25pm my time. It was a real bummer to here this. But I knew when I realized it was my mom calling this afternoon, I didn't even have to hear her say it. He WILL be missed.

Christmas Eve 2006

Merry Christmas EVE!!!! Today the girls got to open one present and we baked cookies and ate too many sweats. Mr. Jinx loves to nap under our Christmas Tree. He was spread out under it last night and I had to take a picture.

My grandfather is still with us. We think he is trying to make it until after Christmas. I cant even imagine how much pain he would me in with out that medicine. That is the Himenes for ya, he hasn't had any food or water since Wednesday night. The doctors say that the growth is the size of 2 of his hands. And he has very large hands....

Grandfather Update

Well, my grandfather is in the hospital again. Yesterday my Aunt woke up to my grandfather having a hard time breathing. She called the ambulance and they took him the hospital. They did some kind of test and they said that the growth enlarged and is closing his windpipe making it hard for him to breath. They put a breathing tube in him and are giving him morphine every 2 hours to calm him down. They just want to keep him comfortable. They is really nothing they can do, so now it is just a waiting game. He is suffering and it makes me so sad to think of that. So I try to stay positive and think that soon enough he will be in a better place, with no more pain. Because that is all he has been having for a while now, PAIN. We were hoping he could make it till Christmas, it is just ashame that it looks like he won't. So I sit by the phone just waiting for that phone call that says he has past, and hope for the strength to deal with yet another grandparent passing.

Christmas Flowers

Today I got the most beautiful Christmas flowers. They are from my Grandpa, but I know my mom and dad had a hand in getting them too so thank you to all of you! I just love them.

Many of you know that my Grandfather is very ill right now. He has Lung Cancer. He is barely eating anything anymore. If he eats 2 jars of baby food a day and doesn't vomit, that is a good day. He has always been kind of big, but now he is down to about 150 pounds. He is the last grandparent I have so it makes it even more unfortunate for me. Right now he is living with one of my Aunts, she takes care of him, and my mom and dad kinda take care of his finance's, since he had to sell his home a year ago because one of my cousins took advantage of my grandparents kindness and borrowed against there already paid off house. It still really bothers me to even think about it. How this person can even look at herself. We have proof and she still denies, denies, denies!!!! Fate, or whatever you believe, will surely have its wrath on her sooner or later...

Park in December

Yesterday Cassidy had a birthday party to go to and the girls were complaining that they wanted to do something so after we dropped Cassidy off at the bowling alley, which is were the birthday party was we decided to go to the park. Katelyn's friend ended up meeting us there. After the park I took the girls to Subway so they could have a ice cream cone! It was a good time!

Visit to See Santa 2006

Christmas Socks

James and I got the girls Christmas socks the other day. This is what they picked out. Cassidy and Sarah, picked out furry ones and Katelyn picked out ones with toes in them.

James keeps on telling me to get his picture of his toes off here. Well, I am not going to do that, but I will move it down a little!!!LOL, HA, HA, HA!!!!!

Pink Nail Polish

Many of you know that my husbands favorite color is PINK. Yes that is right PINK! So last night I got him to let me paint his toes, and I did it in his favorite color PINK. Look! Doesn't he have the prettiest feet! LOL!

We got our Christmas Tree yesterday. We decided to get a fake one this year. James picked out a nice one. Seven and a half feet tall and 5 feet around. The girls decorated it yesterday, here are some photos of our fun.

Home Visit

Today I had a home visit with one of Sarah's teachers, Honor. She was very nice although James and I were really not interested in having a home visit. She did let us explain why we were not interested in having one and was very understanding with us. She told us that Sarah is doing very well. And we did come up with some goals for her for the year. For the next one I told her that I would want to come in to the school and do it there. I guess the next one is with the Family Service worker for Head Start and I really don't care for her to much. She is kind of snooty. Honor was telling us that a lot of people feel that way about her. Glad to here that I am not the only one. Puppy's are in the paper for one more week. Hopefully they get good homes! We got some sleet today. It started off pretty sunny then at about 4pm the clouds started rolling in. James said that as soon as he hit Blair he could see it, Omaha was clear. Great just hope it is not bad tomorrow. I have to drive into Omaha tomorrow afternoon. So I am wishing for no snow. This weekend we are going to put up our tree, which will hopefully get us in the mood. Just cant seem to catch the Christmas spirit this year. Which is very sad. I am done Christmas shopping, just have to get the girls there Santa gift, which they all said they wanted a fish tank so we are looking at a tank at petco, it is a complete kit. That is what they will probably end up getting. Then tax season, which we are really looking forward to. Comeon, MOMMA NEEDS A NEW CAMERA! I am looking at getting the 30D and having my 20D for backup. It will be nice to have a second camera for when I do weddings. So James can have on and I could have one. Two shooters for one wedding!! We will not miss anything! That would be nice. Santa is coming to the Chatt Center on Saturday the 16, so look for pictures of that! The girls are really excited. Now, better get back to the nitty gritty.

I think I have said before we are down to two puppies. Someone is coming to look at them today. Here is newer photos of the 2 left. Don't mind the messy bed, this was before I cleaned it for the day. Aren't they cute. Still cant talk James into letting me keep one! So POOH on him!

What we did today...

Today was pretty busy for me. I got to go to Sarah's school and they had a little gingerbread making party. Sarah and I had so much fun making a gingerbread baby. There were alot of other parent there too and all of the kids got to pick out a free book! We have already read the book twice. Here are some photos. They turned out pretty funky looking but oh, well.

One puppy got sold this weekend, so we are down to two. They will be in the paper again starting tomorrow until Sunday. I just found out that we now have $9000 dollars in equity in our house. Prices for houses must have gone up in Tekamah in the last 2 years. Ex-cite-ing!!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Late Thanksgiving all. We had a pretty good one, hope you all did too. I thought I would share photos of most of what we had. The turkey turned out awesome! James made this fruit desert and a pumpkin cream cheese pie. We had twice baked potatoes, stuffing balls and biscuits of course. It was all so excellent.

We got a 18 1/2+lbs turkey and we had half of it left after dinner. So we will have some left overs for a while. WOOHOO cross of Thanksgiving on to Christmas.

Today we decided to bathe the puppies because they were not smelling the best anymore and they are in the paper now so we wanted them some what clean. I washed and Kate and Cassidy dried and Sarah helped brush.
