P.P.V

First thing this morning I hear the girls arguing about what to watch. I get up and they have bought 2 movies on the PPV channel. I look through the order history and it shows that they bought a sports program for 3o dollars on the 24th. DAMN! So now on our next bill there is going to be an extra 38 bucks on it. I am so furious!! Everybody is sent to there rooms because I cant get out who actually bought these. I have my suspicion but no hard proof. Now they are not allowed to watch TV in our living room by themselves, they will have to go watch it in the play area (which is more like a living area for kids). Just venting!

Teddy Bear Express

The girls each got a 25 dollar gift card from the Teddy Bear Express from "Santa". So we took them there yesterday. It was packed. It took us about 1hr and 45 minutes to get through the line. That place is really cool. The animal range from 10-25 dollars, the outfits range from 12-15 dollars, the shoes range from 5-10 dollars, and they have a lot of other accessories but we didn't get into that. For the 3 teddy bears, 3 outfits and 3 shoes our bill came out to 92 dollars. After the gift cards we spent about 20. If you haven't been there yet, you should go check it out. We had lot of fun!

Christmas Time!

Christmas was good, the girls got a lot of stuff. Thanks to every one who sent them something. Here are just some of the pictures from the day.

Merry Christmas

I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Today we are baking lots of goody's. The girls won't stop talking about Santa, they are so cute, ah, to be that young again would definetally be a gift. Check back after Christmas and I will post pictures of the kids opening presents!

Preparing for Christmas

The girls get out of school for Christmas break next week, Cassidy on Tuesday and Katelyn has a half day on Wednesday. They are trying to be on their best behavior because they know the big day is coming. The girls and I are going to make some sugar cookies and ginger bread cookies next week. I bought the stuff so they will be able to decorate them today. Each of them has a different color tube of topping and sprinkles to put on them. I figure that is the best way to keep them from fighting.

Cassidy's Preschool sang at the Tekamah Health and Rehab Center. It was so cute. Cassidy was so nervous but she did very well. Here are some of those pictures.

Last Night

Last night Cassidy did something that I have never seen a child do before. The crazy kid smeared bubble gum in her eyes, eye lashes and eye brows, while she was playing with her gum. I have asked her repeatedly to keep her gum in her mouth, but does she ever listen, NO! So James and I spent like 30 minutes trying to get the gum out. I just don't know where our kids get these ideas from. From sticking beads up their noses to this! Gosh, my kids amaze me.

Yay Me!

My husband came home last night with a suprise for me! Yay me. He brought me home the photo printer I wanted and the 20D grip that I have been longing for, for about 8 to 9 months now. Very unexpected. The game cube that he bought the girls looks nice. They are really going to love it. Now, on to find a place on our desk for the printer.

Ba Humbug

Today I have just been in a grumpy, Ba Humbug mood. I dont feel like doing anything but lay down on the couch with my cuddly blanket and veg. But I dont, I do actually get stuff done today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

James bought a new car yesterday, well new to us. His work van's engin blew again, twice in 2 years and we thought it would just be best to get us a different one. The only thing that I requested, was that he not get another stinken Ford. We have had no luck with Fords. So he didn't, he got either a Dodge or a Chrysler, I can't remember which. Both of which are fine with me. He really likes his car. James just bought the girls their big Christmas presant today, a Game Cube with 3 remotes and 4 games. Thats it, no more gifts for the girls. Man, rotten children!

Still Life

Yeah, I finally finished my still life project. WOOHOO!! I am cutting it really close to my deadline but at least it is done. I will try and post the pictures I will use after I get my film developed. Yup, had to be on film. I did snap some with my digital just in case nothing came out. Chances are the film will be fine, but I am not leaving this up to chance. I need to get this in! Fingers and toes crossed!

Ho, Ho, Ho

Today, the girls and I spent most of the day out and about getting some things done. The day started at 9 am with sending out 40 dollars worth of Christmas packages to family. I am so happy that is done. Then we drove down to Wal-Mart and spent a couple hours there grocery shopping. On the way home we stopped off to see Santa. The girls did a great job sitting with him and telling him what they wanted for Christmas. Santa gave the girls a lunch bag full of goodys, and not the cheep stuff either! Then we were on our way home and needless to say by the time we got home the girls had eaten a lot of the their candy and had a major sugar rush going. With no nap that is bad news. James brought home a huge (bearly fit into our living room) Christmas tree today and the girls decorated it beautifully. All in all not a bad day!

Up and Running

Yes we are up and running. I still have to figure out how to do a few things on this blog. But at the end of the month this is the only site we will have for the family, so please bookmark it.

I had to take Katelyn to the Dr's today. Last night she shows me this thing in her mouth James didn't know if it was a tooth growing out of her gum line or some kind of sore. The doctor confirmed it was just a sore in her mouth and gave her this goop to put on it. He said sometimes stress brings canker sores on. She was stressing so much about her program I guess that is what happens to some people. He advised us to always have it on had just in case she is prone to getting them.

Tomorrow it is supposed to be 31 degrees here!!! It seems wierd that I would be happy at the weather being only 31, but when the weather has been in the single digits you pray for days like tomorrow will be. I am taking the girls to see Santa Clause at the Blair Fire Department, getting a tree and going grocery shopping. Busy, Busy day for us.

Christmas Program

We went to see Katelyn and her Second Grade class sing in the Christmas Program on Thursday. We had a great time and Katelyn did an awesome job. She even had a line that she said in front of everybody.
