Today was a busy day. We sold both of my females and we started painting my studio! So yet again we are puppy-less. We were lucky, we found excellent homes for all of them!
Yet another day of rain, it has been raining since Wednesday. Tomorrow, rain again! Great for the grass, flowers and trees. But we want to play outside.
Off to cook for the family! Something simple. I think maybe eggs and bacon!

Well, we were sad to see our male puppy get sold yesterday. But he went to a good home. The couple who purchased him brought their two year old female pom. Kate and Sarah were crying and it was really emotional for them to see him go. Even though I made sure to tell them he was probably going to be sold before they even showed up. Only my females left, and that is weird to me because females are usually the first to go. So far Lillie isn't whining, hopefully that lasts. We have had quite a few calls today for my girls but so far no one has shown up.
I have a girl scout leader meeting today at 7pm. This is my first meeting that I will be attending. Hopefully it will be fun. Only 2 more meetings for my troop to get together and I have 3 girls bridging over to Junior Girl Scouts. Which we plan to have a special ceremony for them. Lots of fun!

We found this at a little flea market, we payed 10 dollars for it, the paint was chipped and pealing, the padding was icky. James sanded it, stained it, and glossed it, put a new cloth and padding on it and here it is. I love it!! The padding will smooth itself down with use. The girls have been sitting on it today and I already see it smooching and smoothing down. I am excited to get this into my studio. We will probably start painting my studio this weekend. I chose a color called swan grey. I think I will put chocolate boarders around the room too. Then the curtains. I am hoping I can find some nice matching ones or have a friend of mine make them until I get my sewing machine! I also got some awesome oriental umbrellas. I am just so excited to get into the studio!!!!
We have been having such a hard time with the paper and trying to get the puppies advertised there. It was supposed to be in on Friday and that didn't happen, I called them and she said she had it on the wrong day. She also told me it was to late to go into Saturdays paper so the earliest it could go in was Sunday and she would give me 2 days for free. So the add would be run Sunday-Tuesday. Well it wasn't in Sundays paper. I called and they are not in on Sundays. Called Monday and she said she put it to start next Sunday again and she was sorry so she would give me my whole add for free. Well, I wanted it to run in a Sunday paper so she gave me 3 extra days at half price. I was excited. It was supposed to be in Tuesday-Sunday. Checked today and it is not in there again!!! By this time I am just pissed off. I called again and she said she doesn't know what happened and because I am having such a problem with getting this add in she would give me the whole thing for free again. So NOW I am supposed to have my add in Wednesdays-Sundays paper. Yeah, won't hold my breath!

Puppies for Sale!
Any yes my babies are for sale. They went into the paper today. The kids and I are going to miss them so much. I am sure they will liven up any home. To see lots more pictures you can click on my photo blog. Here the puppies are 7 1/2 weeks old. They will be 8 weeks old on Monday. They will be available for pick-up at the earliest on Sunday. The one on the far left is female #1, blond is female#2, bottom right is our handsome male.
Powwow
Here are some shots from the Powwow this weekend. I hope you like them! Kids go back to school tomorrow!!! Yeah. All they have been doing yesterday and today is fighting. Man, things to look forward to when they are out for summer vacation next month.
Happy Easter
Today was a good day. We went to go see the Easter Bunny and to the Burt County Museum to get some pictures of the girls with the outfits that Grandmy and Grandpy bought. After we were done with that we went to Omaha to U-N-O were they were having a POW WOW. On our way to UNO we stoped at Hobby Lobby, which I have to say is one of my favorite stores, where I picked up a few new props. Then we went and had lunch at Buffallo Wild Wing. YUM. After lunch we went to the POW WOW. We had so much fun. We watched the dancing and listened to the music they had going on there. Each of the girls got to pick out a necklace and James bought me a new dream catcher. Pictures of that later.
Spider Hugging the Sun
This is a picture Cassidy drew today. She loves to draw. She told me this long elaborate story about her picture. I can't remember the exact details but the gist of the story was there was a storm and the sun got scared so the spider decided to give the sun a hug! Pretty cute huh!
