Spring Life

There is a nest in my neighbors roof. We got a chance to see mama bringing a worm to her young!

Zoo

Last weekend we went to the zoo for a couple of hours to get out of the house. It was a beautiful day not to hot and not to cold, just perfect. We rode the new sky lift they had there, Sarah was a bit afraid of that to start out with but towards the end of it she started to lighten up. Getting off James was approached by Channel 3 news, they asked him what we had planned for the summer and if we were vacationing locally. That night James was on the news, he had his 5 seconds of fame! Anyway here are just a few snapshot, you can view the rest by going to www.flickr.com/photos/thedriscolls5/.

Mothers Day Painting

This is what James and I bought for our moms for Mothers Day. It took me forever to get it painted. At this size it might be a little hard to tell but it looks great larger! We had it printed on a stand out for them.

School is almost out for the girls. ARG! Kate and Cassidy are doing swim team again this year. And the local pool is about to open again, which we are really excited about.

Beltane Ritual 2009

Last weekend was Beltane, there was a Ritual held in Omaha that we went to. Thought I would share some pictures my hubby took.

Katelyn Singing

This was Katelyn singing at school last night. March 5th 2009

Spring Sing 2009

Katelyn had her Spring Sing yesterday. It was for the 5th-8th grade. She was so excited that she got chosen to do a couple of solo parts. The songs her class sang were "We Go Together", "God Bless The USA", (she had a solo part in this one), "Ordinary Miracle", If We Hold On Together", (she had a solo part in this one too). She did such a fantastic job. Hubby video taped it so hopefully he will get on the ball and put the video online.

Beltane

Great earth mother! We give you praise today and ask for your blessing upon us. As seeds spring forth and grass grows green and winds blow gently and the rivers flow and the sun shines down upon our land, we offer thanks to you for your blessings and your gifts of life each spring.
